About the ODR

The Oven Door Runners has been in existence since 1979. I joined in 1989 when I met one of the co-founders and long time guiding force, Bill Hearne. I discovered that there's nothing like shared "misery" to forge lasting friendships. Sadly, we lost Bill in 2009 when he died suddenly from an undiagnosed medical condition while climbing Denali in Alaska. But his legacy lives on in a strong, vibrant running group.
