In 2012 Maureen's boss and friend ran for a justice in the New York State Supreme court and won. It was a real grass roots effort. Like all judicial races, the political parties lend their name, but no real financing. Scott prevailed through his own hard work and the strength of his personality. He built a strong campaign staff and had loyal family support from his wife, Kelly, his children, Jarrett and Jaidan, and his sister Kelly (yes there are two Kellys) who all put in countless hours without complaint. We volunteered to document his campaign. This gallery contains many of the events and experiences that we had along the way from start to finish. It was both challenging and fun as a photo assignment, and satisfying in whatever way we contributed to his success.
